[2] Graduate students must purchase the Graduate Student Health Insurance Plan (GSHIP) unless they are able to prove comparable coverage under another insurance plan. The 2002-03 GSHIP Fee is approximately $966. More information about GSHIP is available at http://healthcenter.ucdavis.edu/insurance.html.

[3] In 2002-03, the Educational Fee for California resident undergraduates is expected to be $2,716.00. For California resident graduate students the Educational Fee is expected to be $2,896.00. For all others, nonresidents and professional students, the Educational Fee is expected to be $3,086.00.

[4] Effective fall quarter 1997, nonresident Ph.D. candidates who have advanced to candidacy by the first day of the quarter will be assessed 25% of the 2002-03 Nonresident Tuition charge. The reduced nonresident tuition will be applied for three calendar years, after which enrolled nonresident advanced doctoral students will again be charged the full Nonresident Tuition in effect at that time.
